We calculate your stretch of map from elevation data and build it into a relief where terrain, roads, buildings and water each catch the light differently.

Every piece is then framed by hand.

The relief is printed in a matt bio-polymer. Its fine, even surface holds elevation, roads and building edges precisely, and keeps reflections down.

  • Can I choose any place?

    Yes. Search for a city, an address or coordinates, then set the framing yourself.

  • What do I get to choose?

    You choose the stretch of map, the colours, the format and the frame — and a heart marker if you want one.

  • How long does delivery take?

    Your relief is ready to ship within 1–2 working days. Delivery then usually takes 2–4 working days to Germany, 3–7 to the Netherlands and Czechia, and 4–9 to Ireland and Lithuania.

  • How do I set the framing?

    Once you have found the location, take our suggestion or adjust the scale and framing yourself in the studio.

  • Which materials and frames are available?

    The configurator shows every finish and frame available. There is more detail on our materials page.

  • Does a Höhenschicht relief make a good gift?

    Yes. Choose somewhere that means something to both of you, and mark the exact spot with a heart marker.
